The Architect Makes the Difference
Some homes have a story to tell and some don’t. The home pictured below is a novel written in the sands of a beautiful island off the coast of Connecticut.

The misty serenity of this place inspired Douglas Cutler to design a home of such grandeur and dignity that all who see it in from the mainland distance gasp at the idea of perfection. There is no replacement for home, says owner, Jim. We knew we wanted to live on this island with our dogs and boats, yet we did not want to wait three years to make the move into our dream house. The construction from start to finish was less than six months. We would recommend this Douglas Cutler stock custom design to anyone who wants quality and speed of delivery. For over 50 years modular homes had the stigma of being bland and boxy but with architects familiar with modular building systems, solutions never thought possible are possible. Modular building when boiled down is a hybrid method of building. For a firm like ours with over 20 years experience, quality modular designs require an artful mix of modular building and stick built stylizing.
